Sound Psychotherapy & Counseling Services LLC began with the belief that every person is deserving of health, happiness, and compassionate support.  A mission to offer the opportunity for patients to embark on the journey towards healing, balancing, growing and thriving with the peace of mind of a caring and skilled professional at their side. Seven years later, that mission is still at the heart of what I do, and as a result this practice has grown to be an entrusted and highly sought safe environment to do some of one's hardest work. It is quite an honor and privilege.

Recent years have brought with them a greater sense of urgency and importance to the need for quality mental health care; with the COVID-19 pandemic creating upheaval in all of our lives, it also clarified for many how important but sometimes neglected mental health can be.  My mission still holds true, but I realized that I cannot do it alone and help as many people as I would like to.  I also realized that too many wonderful clinicians struggled with burnout, difficulties achieving work/life balance, and stressors associated with providing quality care for others and having enough reserved to take good care of themselves as well.  So my mission is expanding: to not only provide quality mental health care to patients but to also provide a nurturing and balanced work environment for clinicians.  I hold dearly the belief that a thriving clinician is the key to thriving patients and a thriving practice.  I hope that this practice becomes a place where patients and clinicians alike experience growth, balance, peace, and a greater sense of overall health and happiness.
